As a young girl in a small town in Ohio, I remember adjusting the metal clothes hanger on our small little red radio and listing to the Grand Ole Opry. My first recollection of the stars singing was Kitty Wells, Roy Acuff, Ernest Tubb, Jeannie Shepard, Porter Wagner and of course Little Jimmy Dickens and Minnie Pearl. This was the music I was brought up on and still love today. All of these great singers are gone but will never be forgotten They have since been replaced by other country artist through the years that have become just as popular and has allowed the music to continue on.
